achievements
  • LOVE which began in Montreal with fifteen youth in 1993, now runs programs in five cities across the continent.
  • Over 200 youth leaders in Canada and the U.S. work tirelessly to create outreaches, reaching thousands of peers each year.
  • Our annual youth newspaper, ONE LOVE, distributes 30,000 copies to schools, youth centers, libraries, health clinics and universities. The extensive paper is comprised of writing and photographs created by LOVE youth in Media Arts Programs (MAP) across Canada and in New York City.
  • Two books authored by the youth of LOVE have been published in English and French.
  • In September 2006, LOVE New York opened its first youth center where leaders are trained and LOVE youth can meet in a safe environment- one that many of them call a "space where I can always be me."
